Rydges & local talent deliver again safe clean overnight stay

Mid way overnight stop Nimbin to Shellharbour
Refurbished Rydges very comfortable & clean.
Linen good quality.
Bath towels need replacing now.
Bar

Hospitality staff young & old very enthusiastic with welcoming smiles

Super new comfortable & clean rooms, excellent location by waterfront. Lobby was bright making everyone refreshed. Staffs are great. Swimming pool is small and nice to have jacuzzi looking out to the ocean. Will be great to have self service laundry. Food was great at Zebu. Love it. Will definitely recommend to any family

I recently stayed at Rydges Port Macquarie, an EVT Hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea, making it perfect for relaxing walks along the waterfront. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views, which made the stay all the more enjoyable.
The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. However, the breakfast spread was quite average—while it had the basics, it lacked variety and didn’t quite match the high standard of the rest of the hotel.
Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a seaside getaway, and I’d happily stay again. Hopefully, they’ll enhance the breakfast selection in the future to make the experience even better!

Excellent refurbishment makes Rydges #1 again.

Decided to stop over on our way down the coast after hearing of a recent refurbishment. Was not disappointed, as the room and bathroom are beautiful, and are now probably the best rooms in Port Macquarie.
The location is excellent, central to all the shops and restaurants and adjacent to the river foreshore walk.
Whilst we didn’t have a balcony room this time, I plan to do so on our next visit as the views over the river are magnificent.

Small cocktails

A good hotel but go elsewhere for cocktails. We ordered cocktails which were quite expensive but the glass was half full. It was a couple of sips and they were gone.
It’s a nice hotel and we’ve stayed a few times just be careful of ordering cocktails
