Excellent Sorrento offering
Excellent luxury hotel in Sorrento. Has great restaurants, rooftop pool deck and bathhouse - not technically part of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern with nice decor and comfortable bed - albeit without any views from ours, which overlooked laneways.

Location is good
Location is good, stayed in Ripley Lane Wing but disappointed has no view of the sea from the room.
Hotel has a Very complicated layout and signage can be improved.
Mini bar items are part of room rate.
But items are very limited.
Breakfast does not have a Buffet restricted items are to be selected from a very limited menu card.
Very disappointed ☹️
The bed and room is recently renovated but light switches are not easy to understand
Not my preferred hotel.

Cleaning stuff can certainly improve, the room was not vacuumed or swept for two days, used bottles and glasses were not removed.

Stay away. Any Airbnb prob better.
Where do I even start… Not a 5-star hotel, not even close. This is what happens when there is lack of meaningful competition. The regular rooms are terrible. They are extremely small and there is zero space for luggage and clothes. My stuff had to literally go on the floor. I went there for a business meeting and there was no space in the room to put a laptop on, so I had to work on the bed. There is a big closet that takes up a lot of space but it is full with various things so there is no space for clothes in there. Many rooms face inwards toward other rooms and walls. The food is underwhelming. The breakfast service takes forever, even with very few guests there. The personnel at the front desk is inattentive and not particularly friendly. I am an IHG member, inquired about a better room and got a pretty snooty response. The location in Sorrento is OK at best, not that great at all. I’m really not sure why the area is so hyped, the nearby beach is just meh. The upstairs hotel terrace overlooks a harbor, not exactly the greatest view. This is a disappointing hotel and not at the level on an Intercontinental. I suggest to avoid when traveling to the area.

For the decades this is first time front reception telling me I never did in my life- ordered something thing to the spa , I do not know where is the spa, then someone took speakers from the room, I have not seen them from the entrance to the hotel, I am 66 , and a Doctor, this is abusing
