I had a fantastic stay at Maajid Hotel Baku. The hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. Located in the heart of Baku’s Old City, it offers easy access to historical landmarks while providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was clean, well-furnished, and had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The breakfast selection was excellent, with fresh and delicious options to start the day right.
What truly stood out was the warm and personalized service. The team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, offering great recommendations for exploring the city. If you’re looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay in Baku, Maajid Hotel is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely return on my next visit!

Cozy hotel in a top location!

Cozy hotel in its price category in the Old Town of Baku, 2 minutes to the Icheri Sheher metro. Many nearby: sights of the old town, Philharmonic Garden, Baku Boulevard and the waterfront, etc. The rooms are small, the cleaning is timely. Nice bed linen and towels. Breakfast is standard, everything is delicious. On the top floor there is a terrace serving delicious tea. On the downside, there's poor room noise insulation. It never ruined my arrival at this hotel.

Unforgettable Baku

The hotel has a very convenient location, all the most interesting things are nearby. The hotel itself is cozy, it feels like being at home.
But the most expensive and valuable thing in this hotel is the people (staff)!!!

Charming hotel

At the reception desk we were greeted by the hospitable hotel staff, ready to help you and solve almost any questions beyond what was required. You can ask for advice and tips.
Located in Icherishehar, old town. Near the embankment and many attractions.
The room (3rd floor) had heated floors and a view of the city. Comfortable beds, carpet, you can walk barefoot. Also a kettle, tea, water.
Delicious breakfasts, prepared individually for each visitor. Freshly brewed coffee with milk. Scrambled eggs/omelet, porridge, small snacks. Wi-Fi works well.
Disadvantages: the shower water leaked a little onto the bathroom floor.
I recommend it, I'll be happy to come back here.

The second hotel we stayed in Baku and still could not provide shower caps (basic amenities?). No water offered either. Staff were ok. Breakfast was good. We didn’t like the rainfall shower head and the room temperature was too warm. (We asked the receptionist to adjust the temperature but still warm. We woke up sweating). The location was perfect, though. A few minutes from Metro, and bustling areas.
