Very clean and close to the beach, restaurants and everything. Most of all staff and owners are very friendly and very nice people. Humble people. God bless you all

Outstanding Stay in Dreamy Santorini!
I can’t express enough how fantastic my stay was! Not only is the location ideal but the service is above and beyond in every way. A hidden oasis 5 minutes away from one of the nicest beaches of Santorini ️⛵ The room was immaculately clean and so comfortable. Above them all was the family who greeted us with large smiles from the beginning to the end of our adventure They couldn't have been more helpful. There are very few places that meet so many standards and make you feel so at home. I would happily stay here again and again. When we come back to Santorini, we will 100% return

Very nice family hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities inside the room like a safe where you can store your valuables and pretty good cooking facilities, a balcony where you can have your breakfast or light meals. The view from the room (room 1) was really fantastic. It’s a quiet area and it’s a really close walk from Perissa. Maybe the only downside would be the shower system that lets the water flow all over the bathroom. Maybe a longer shower curtain or a plastic shower cubicle would do the trick ? Apart from that it was a very nice experience. I would definitely consider coming back !

Certamente consigliabile!
We were at Ancient Thera Studios in late June, early July 2024.
We had a great time, the expectations were amply rewarded.
The place is very quiet, close to all amenities and within easy walking distance of the Orthodox church square.
All major services, buses and markets are convenient.
The owners are very discreet and helpful.
The studio was small, but equipped with everything you need; perfect and impeccable cleaning. In simplicity everything is very well organized.
I give only 4 bullets instead of the 5 deserved, because one of the reasons for my choice was the fact of having a structure with an annexed well-reviewed restaurant and a bar, which unfortunately in our period of stay were closed. A real shame, because it would further simplify the stay.
Only tip: our studio had a very nice balcony, on which a pleasant table was available for meals eaten on site; the trouble is that we encountered a rather windy period and the solution was not viable. Unfortunately inside there was no suitable table to eat on and we had to make do a little: this solution is improvable, although not a serious problem.
In summary: certainly advisable! Wanting to return to Perissa I would not hesitate to rebook.

Great base for Santorini, really friendly owners and spotless rooms.
This is a traditional Greek hotel, and we chose the cheapest room (basement) so it was pretty small and basic. But we knew that before we travelled, and the room had everything we needed in it for a comfortable week's stay. The owners are friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily to a really high standard.
The restaurant wasn't open when we were there as the resort as a whole felt like it was just getting started for the season. There isn't a pool at Ancient Thera Studios but we just went to the beach everyday as many places are happy for you to chill on their loungers as long as you buy a couple of drinks or some food. Tranquilo was our favourite spot on the beach front.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the beach front and the main bars/restaurants in Perissa, where there's plenty of choice for food and drinks etc. You're also in a great position to walk up the volcano to the ancient ruins and to the old church in the hillside from Ancient Thera Studios. There are several supermarkets, bakeries, bars etc within 5-10 minutes walk, and you're really close to the public bus stop which takes you to Fira with connections to Oia. The main church is nearby too and it's just as pretty.
I'd happily stay here again, and would definitely recommend to anyone who's pretty low maintenance and wants to do their own thing.
