Pleasant stay

Great night spent at the Aurora lodge.
Immediately welcomed in good spirits and informed of the forecasts of dawn. The receptionist was even ready to come knocking on our door in case of appearance.
A very pleasant night with several benches available for observation.
A spacious and tastefully furnished room.
The breakfast was very good and diverse.
The common room is also very nice and allows us to read our books by the fireplace with a view of the sky.
I recommend this property for all those who are visiting in search of a romantic and warm moment.

Iceland and Aurora

Beautiful,, the rooms in small houses all wooden, clean, unfortunately the kitchen was closed and we had to go out for dinner, great breakfast, we saw a beautiful northern lights the location in the countryside is perfect

Very nice stopover towards the east of Iceland

We spent one night in this beautiful hotel lost in nature at the foot of an immense plain in the east of Iceland. Don't bother looking for a television here, everything is done to enjoy nature. Addicts will be able to take advantage of the wifi if they want. The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast buffet will delight everyone. Go for dinner at the Eldstó Art Café 5 minutes away by car, the food is delicious (the hotel restaurant was closed this season). A very nice step

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! Away from the roads, surrounded by open fields and horses, you get stunning views right outside your room door. The food was phenomenal. We didn’t eat anywhere else because we enjoyed it so much. The staff was kind and so welcoming. I want to go back to Iceland just to stay here again.

Beautiful stay

The hotel is just outside in a quiet location from the main town. The hotel is set with the main building defacing the north with outdoor hot bath tub for the guests. It has a bar/ lounge area and a restaurant with a beautiful view of the surroundings and ample parking.
The staff is very friendly and professional and happy to help.
Our cottage was a little on small, cozy side but we enjoyed the stay. Everything in the room and the shower room was of a high standard and slept well. There is a coffee machine in the room with adequate storage space with a dining table and good quality toiletries. We managed to see the northern lights again in this hotel for a little while.
The only feedback is that they should turn outside lights off to prevent light pollutions which caused a bit of hinderance in our northern lights experience.
Otherwise a wonderful stay.
