Incredibly amazing stay in the castle! The pool was clean and with amazing view, the breakfast was delicious and included a wide variety of different foods. The property has amazing WiFi coverage at any corner and it was such a pleasure to work near the pool, or in the small lobby, in the room, everywhere. The two restaurants on the castle territory were nice, one without 'micheline' sign is better;)

A bad memory
I'm sorry to give such a terrible review, but it's a reflection of how they finally treated me. The staff was initially friendly and the location is nice, but too many flaws.
Arrived we found that only suitcases with children can climb with the caddy, while with the little dog I had to climb on foot.
Despite being a 4-star hotel and not cheap there is no luggage delivery service in the room. The receptionist kindly helped us despite saying there was no need and taking a very nice suitcase of my son from my hands accidentally dropped it on the uneven cobblestone in front of the hotel, causing a deep scratch in the plastic on the front.
When I realized the damage, I pointed it out at the hotel and later wrote an email to ask for compensation, they explain what happened without the intent to accuse anyone and I also explained the emotional (as well as economic) value of the suitcase that I gave to my son.
I was answered coldly without any empathy that it was I who dropped the suitcase and that therefore "lacking cause and effect" as far as insured would not refund me anything.
I rewrote reiterating how events had gone without receiving any Response: I really have no words. Where is all the kindness you showed during your stay?
I would add that at night you could not stay with the air conditioner on despite the heat because it was very noisy. An air conditioner of an unknown brand not up to a hotel like this. The problem is that given the heat of the room we kept the windows open without mosquito nets and were literally slaughtered by mosquitoes.
Finally a Spritz in the pool for 10 euros at the counter and with only a few chips taken self service seemed excessive. The homemade lemon granita was good and worth 5 euros.
Breakfast below expectations: bread and focaccia stubble. Nothing surprising.

Not good for us
Being a widespread hotel, my experience could be against the tide and is definitely related to what I felt. We stayed in a detached room, near the central square of the village. Pretty small and cramped, especially the bathroom (there was no physical space to use the toilet, literally stuck to the shower). The room was hot as hell, and the air conditioners were such noisy "cinesata" that it was impossible to sleep with the same lights on. So either deadly heat, or open windows and noises (including music from the nearby restaurant). Very nice central structure, swimming pool and excellent breakfast.
Personally I found it unsuitable for 4 stars and especially the amount paid per night.

everything impeccable, quiet and private location, beautiful panoramic swimming pool, really kind and very welcoming people, large common areas, amazing breakfast, Crstina spoiled us in every way, here you feel truly pampered in everything!!!
