Great visit

Is it basic - yes, you are not paying for any frills. But thats fine, because you are in an amazing location, right next to the tower of pisa. You have staff members that are very very helpful. And it's so rusticly charming, I havent had a physical key in years. I loved it!! 100% reccomended!
The guy working nights said I should go get a picture of the tower when I arrived (at like 1AM) and it was so worth it getting a picture when literally 0 people were there. You wouldnt get that during the daytime

50 meters from the Tower of Pisa....

....if that's enough ok. Booked for two nights without breakfast at 256 € total, very, very old hotel, very small standard rooms, the bathroom is "terrible"... I attach photos of the shower, just the most thorough cleaning would be enough, you see that you do not care. Few courtesy products, take you to the shower gel, the one provided is for washing a foot. The outside is also very sad, no coffee table no chair, in short it is uninviting.

You get what you pay for

This is a difficult review to write.
We had a great stay and the location is unbeatable... You can literally see the Tower from your window if your room is on the left side of the hotel, the restaurants are nearby and it's so easy to see other sights and get into the shopping street of Pisa which also takes you to the river and the shopping district.
In saying that, this hotel is in dire need of TLC, it's very tired and if you're hoping for a decent breakfast you'll be disappointed.
The only thing on offer is hot drinks, cheap juice concentrates, tasteless cake, boiled egg and chocolate granola... But I suppose this is Italy and English/American breakfasts are not a thing here.. but you can get omlettes from nearby restaurants if you want something hot but you'll pay a premium for it.
If you need a lift, arrange when booking because you'll never get up the stairs if you have mobility issues.
Speaking of lifts: a taxi from the hotel to airport will set you back around €15 but check first or they'll rip you off and the hotel is literally 3km from the airport.

Excellent location beside the tower. Lovely areas nearby. Great place to stay. Hotel is very old but it’s clean. I would recommend it and would stay there again. It’s a 20 min walk to the train station

In the room I stayed in, when I turned on the water, it didn’t drain properly and would accumulate. The room's heating was suitable for winter, the breakfast was average, and there was some noise due to its excellent location. Overall, it is recommended for a standard stay of one or two nights with breakfast.
