Perfect location, gorgeous rooms, nice staff, poor leadership.
We had wonderful service at breakfast from Anne - her genuine and welcoming smile made our stay, what a gem! She always made sure we had our favorites made to order, and always kept our coffee, water, juice, and prosecco full. We loved getting to know her and the staff as locals and she always gave us great recommendations for our stay.
Chloe from the upstairs bar made phenomenal cocktails during our stay! She was so kind, welcoming, and is so incredibly talented. Her coconut Negroni was to die for - and we truly enjoyed seeing her around the property - we were so sad to say goodbye at the end of the week because she felt like a friend.
Thomas from the pool bar and breakfast was also so incredibly kind and friendly. He made us great drinks and made us feel like old friends, we loved seeing him behind the bar on days we stayed on property.
Claudia from housekeeping kept our room so tidy and neat and left us sweet notes in addition to birthday decorations, we were so grateful for her.
Brian from IRD and Liza S. from breakfast were also wonderful and treated us so well!
However - it’s extremely clear that this resort is severely understaffed. The front line colleagues are clearly doing their best under circumstances, but it’s obvious that the management and leadership at this property is non existent. Managers are never lifting a finger to help, and the lack of communication between the team is severely lacking.
We replied to the auto welcome email a few days before arrival to explain my husbands mango allergy and our preferences. We also explained again and wrote it on the check in notes ans requested upon arrival from the front desk. We also explained it at restaurants when we sat down. And it was always a surprise…If restaurant staff ask about allergies over and over again (especially one that’s in almost every dish) and it’s constantly a surprise even when they ask for our room number - there’s clearly no efficient system protocol to ensure communication of allergies for guests (just put the notes on the reservation for POS). At the creole restairant, my husband ordered a ceviche that came with mango on it. He politely sent it back and they brought him soup. When his grouper came, it was also covered in mango. When he asked the food runner if it had mango on it, she said no. (Extremely dangerous because it was covered in mango). He insisted had the same mango and explained AGAIN his allergy…and she took it away and later came back with a new one, and the server blamed it on a “new chef”. It was a very disrupted meal that we were looking forward to…..and they still charged us for all of the dishes. We were too disappointed to even argue and left to go have drinks upstairs. Chloe asked how our meal was and we mentioned it was eh…because of the allergy thing (and the fact that my husband could’ve ended up in the hospital).
Later a “manager” came to chat with us which made the situation so much worse. Deepak was an absolutely atrocity and should not interact with guests under any circumstances. As i was reluctantly explaining what happened he continued interrupting me while staring at his phone and leaning against the wall….clearly annoyed at having to do any work. He didn’t show any interest in the fact that his F&B staff almost destroyed our trip TWICE after discussing it multiple times throughout our stay. He never asked if my husband was okay, and never even apologized or took ownership of the miss from the small F&B team. He was rude, dismissive, and unfit for any position of leadership. His offering as a guest recovery was a “free cocktail class” despite us telling him we’ve been bartenders….clearly just an incompetent disaster. We didn’t go to the class but I’m sure it would’ve been great.
Overall, we enjoyed the grounds and most of the staff - but this place needs a serious management overhaul if it intends to survive. Very surprising for Hilton to not know what’s happening on its properties. I hope they clean house and get this staff some better leaders.

Please allow me to sincerely apologize for the oversight and miscommunication regarding your husband's allergy. As this is not the level of service we strive to achieve and provide to our valued guests, please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment, distress and risk caused to you, and rest assured that we have taken your comments extremely seriously and will be used as the basis for our improvement. Your constructive feedback is now discussed with the concerned department heads and we are reviewing our standard procedures immediately to ensure a reliable, accurate property wide system for managing dietary requirements, other guest requests and special note. What you described is not acceptable and is far from the standards we strive to uphold. Ensuring the comfort of our valued guests is our top priority and we always focus on providing the best experience to the top of our abilities.
We are equally concerned by your interaction with one of our manager. The lack of empathy and attentiveness you encountered is not reflective of the service culture we are committed to fostering. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and rest assured, it is being addressed internally.
We recognize that our front-line staff are working hard under pressure, and your comments reinforce the need for stronger management presence and accountability. We are committed to making the necessary changes to better support both our team and our guests.
While we regret the inconvenience caused to you, we sincerely hope that you will allow us the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future, thus enabling us to restore your confidence towards Mango House Seychelles. Aesthetics
What about the hotel I want to say, very cozy, small, beautiful. The aesthete will love the finer details)
The rooms are decent, very comfortable and pretty. All these macramé details on the walls, the baldachin and its perfect creases on the floor, the wicker ceiling, the furniture, all give comfort and joy to the eyes and soul! All over the hotel. What are worth on the ceiling in the restaurant and the massive wood table, bookshelves, gramophone, lots of wood and wicker furniture.
Breakfasts were amazing, how they pleased us) Everything was delicious, the menu was hot, snacks and drinks could be taken yourself from the buffet. Beautiful Anna energized and smiled, always talking to the baby, amazing woman!
There were always free sunbeds by the pool, you can swim freely, practically no one was there. Frequently they brought a sword of fruit, a ball of strbet and always water. Bar cocktails are great, as is food, the kid loved mini burgers!
Dinner appointments were made at different restaurants. Every kitchen is good in its own way!
The evening walk is beautiful, beautiful, quiet, cozy.
There were 2 reservations, had time to stay in 2 rooms. Both are good! The views are amazing, you could watch the sunsets until the sun went down! The hotel is posh! Despite one downside in the form of reception service. The Russian-speaking girl has absolutely no interest in guests and her work. Rude, inattentive, ham-fisted. Didn't help with any questions! When leaving the reception, the English-speaking girl had problems with payment and refund of the deposit, we started to explain, it was difficult to communicate, probably stood for over an hour, and we were already waiting for a taxi to another hotel, the Russian-speaking employee never came!
For this, an important moment for holidaymakers from Russia: pay a cash deposit!!!
