Fantastic Break Away at this lovely hotel

Lovely clean rooms with lovely clean white bedding absolutely fantastic fluffy pillows and a lovely powerful shower , we were given clean towels every day without asking for them the staff are very helpful and kind I can’t believe this hotel is only two stars breakfast absolutely lovely with a lot of nice choices of food we will definitely be returning .

The hotel room is clean and the stuff is friendly.Our room cleaned every day .The location of the hotel is good and very close to touristic attractions especially very close to sagra da familia.However it is not suitable for families because it is a very noisy hotel we couldn't sleep very well.The wall of the rooms are very thin so you can hear what other people talking from other rooms.People who stay at this hotel are very young people( teenagers )and because of their shoutings and their noise we had a terrible four night sleep at this hotel.The hotel stuff never attempt to warn them not make so much noise.The noises starts to increase especially midnight until morning.You can't have a peaceful stay in that hotel IT IS VERY NOISY.If you are a teenager it is a best place to stay otherwise it is definitely not suitable for families and those who are seeking a comfort and peace during their stay.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

The worst place I’ve ever stayed.
This hotel is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The bathroom had a horrible smell, there was mold in the room, and after 2 nights (we were supposed to stay 3 nights) I started to feel really sick from both those things. We walked 3 blocks and luckily found availability at a much better hotel (the Ilunion) which I totally recommend.
When I told the manager I had to leave and move to another hotel because I was sick from the mold he literally had no reaction. Nothing. When I asked for a refund of the last night (that we weren’t going to be able up use) he simply said it was too late to get a refund because it was within a 24 hour period. That’s it. No understanding. No compassion. No attempt at helping me. No partial refund. Nothing. Definitely stay someplace else, even if you have up pay a little more.

I'm going back to Barcelona but not to this hotel of horrors.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, the cleanliness shines by its absence, as soon as we enter the room we see the broken and dirty curtain, the countertop where the dirty TV is surrounded by having put some glass or something else , the television could not even be seen went the image and voice every 4 seconds, it gets cold because there is no heating, the floor looks dirty I have had to throw away the socks, some days they take the towels from the sink and do not replace the clean and when they put them have stains, the bed makes you but they do not bother to stretch the inner sheet, and to top it off when you go down to breakfast you find all the dirty tables uncollected (1 day had to pick us up the receptionist) and to finish you hear all kinds of noises we go that the walls look like paper, ah and one day we also find a little cockroach in the bathroom.

Great location

Honestly very satisfied, I was scared reading the reviews but at the end I was happily surprised. The location is amazing, so close to sagrada familia and center. The price is great for Barcelona and you get what you pay for. The room and bathroom are very old and especially the curtains need to be removed. The only disadvantage was not having a hair dryer and a fridge. The beds were fine, plugs not many and randomly placed. However if you want something budget friendly but don’t want to sleep in an unsafe place like a hostel then this is the perfect place. If you want to explore Barcelona and go there just to sleep and get ready then you will be very happy. Staff is also friendly. Nothing more nothing less.
