Good short stay
My children and mother in law and myself spent the night here in the way to the coast. Montse and Justin at the front desk were super helpful and even got me some papers printed from the printer. The hotel is new and clean and we had a good stay. The restaurant food was decent and the waitress Rylee was very helpful too. Def recommend. We went to the pool next door at the double tree and my kids swam there. I would def come back.

A great stay in New Bern NC
Beautiful renovation with many special amenities. Rooms are first class and elegantly appointed. The level of quality for the coffee maker and fridge will surprise you. The little touches will make you smile. The front desk folks are outstanding and can help you get whatever local information you need for a great stay. Highly recommended for your next trip to New Bern NC.

Double booked
Montse at the Tryon Riverfront in New Bern was a huge help. I had somehow double booked and she was able to help me get one of them cancelled. Thank you so much, and the room was amazing! Clean and wonderful views. This was my first time staying here and we got in late so her help was very much appreciated.

Beautiful, brand new waterfront hotel in historic New Bern!
The Tryon Riverfront Inn New Bern-Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a brand new hotel located on the river in historic New Bern.
It is so beautifully decorated and is designed with thoughtful, functional choices like towel hooks by the shower, a shelf inside the shower that has a hole to hang your razor and all of the luxury toiletries that you could ask for! The view of the river/boats from our room was spectacular!
As good as all of the physical attributes of the Tryon Riverfront Inn were, the hotel personnel is where this hotel really shines!
Medina and Justin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and always greeted us with a warm smile and hello whenever we were in the lobby.
This hotel currently has rooms on 3 floors and we were curious about what was on the 4th floor. Medina and Justin took the time to let us know all about the different types of suites that are currently under construction on the 4th floor, even showing us the floor plans!
We were so impressed with this brand new hotel and warm, welcoming staff, that we can’t wait to return again in the future!

Stay here!
This Inn is in a beautiful location and the rooms are nicely appointed, as I would expect for a Tapestry property. I'm a Hilton Gold (formerly Diamond) Member and this was well worth the points for a few nights away! The front desk was very friendly, the rooms have upgraded amenities like a Nespresso coffee maker (the way to my heart), and you are steps from the Riverwalk. Everything we had at the on-site restaurant was excellent, although I'd suggest some practice for the smoked old-fashioned. You are within easy walking distance of downtown New Bern, we didn't need our car except for a day trip to the beach. (Recommend Baker's Kitchen, Poppy's, Baxters, and don't miss a short walk along the water for Gemelli's Bagels!). This hotel is FAR better than the Doubletree next door, or any other hotel in New Bern IMO. Stay here if you can!
