Great Stay at the Holiday Inn!

We are a touring band traveling from Chicago to Cleveland, OH and recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Matteson, Illinois, and had a very pleasant experience. Parking was easy and convenient, making arrival stress-free. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient, with friendly staff assisting us quickly. The rooms were recently renovated, offering a fresh, modern feel. We appreciated the clean beds and spotless bathrooms, which added to the comfort of our stay. The large TV was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Another big plus was the number of restaurants just right next to the hotel—plenty of dining options without having to drive far anywhere. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay.

Just what we were looking for

Huge thanks to the Holiday Inn Express Matteson, Illinois for the perfect stay. This property was everything I expect from a Holiday Inn Express- clean, quiet and with a friendly and caring staff.
Within minutes, Jennifer had us in our rooms, with a couple laughs (she was terrific).
The Matteson Holiday Inn Express was easy on/off the highway and only took us 35 min to drive to/from the city for evening work.
Next morning, great workout (with water bottle refill station...highly underrated) and breakfast before getting back on the road.
Next time I'm working in Chicago, know where I'm staying.
Thanks for a terrific stay.

Great stay south of Chicago!

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago Matteson is only 5 months old, so everything is pristine and clean. The front desk staff were awesome! Friendly and big smiles, and I was in my room in no time flat. The rooms are big and comfortable, with great HVAC - easy to dial in the temperature you want. The bed was comfy and the linens were top notch. I loved the breakfast buffet – both hot and cold selections, fresh and well stocked, and a bit different each day. The hotel is about 25 minutes south of Chicago, with the perfect balance of convenient access to the city without the hassle of city parking, taxes, and traffic. I went for a run in the nearby neighborhood and felt very safe. I arrived at the hotel at 7:30P and was back out of the room 30 mins later. I was in town for a memorial service. Got back to the hotel after midnight. Woke up Saturday to get ready for the memorial and hair was all in the shower. Hair on the floor under the sink. Not my hair because it's braided and no hair on the other part. It was disgusting to have to get ready and you are already in and emotional state of mind. Yes , I took pictures. Before I left I showed them to the desk clerk and no manager was available. Thisvladyvwssvvery nice she offered to have the room cleaned while I was gone. Well I knew I hadn't put my valuables up and declined. I said no I don't want them in my room while I'm not in it. PLUS THE ROOM SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN CLEANED BEFORE I ARRIVED. After the memorial I stopped by the desk on my way to the room after 5P different young lady, STILL no manager so I asked her to call the regional manager about my room not being cleaned. WELL I was told they couldn't do anything since I declined earlier to have it cleaned. Again not in my room that long after changing and leaving out again. Had to take clothes to my cousin's house so I could take a nice shower in a clean bathroom. Got back after 11:30 P. Checked out at 5:30 A. Not even in the room for a total of 7 hours all 3 days. And they wouldn't even give me a discount. WOW SO BE AWARE OF THE NASTY UNCLEAN BATHROOM. AND WHAT MAKES THIS SAD IS MY DAD WHO HAS PASSED USED TO LOVE THIS HOTEL, DIFFERENT NAME THEN

Kaliyah was awesome, she made sure I got to my room also signed me up as a new meber so I could directly!!

Stay away from Expedia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they had me at the hotel since 3pm and never got in until after 5pm because of a silly mistake, Jennifer was telling me to have them refund me but I couldn't deal with the hassle, Kaliyah was super helpful, she apologized and checked up on me every 2 seconds. Her manager Jennifer never left her side for a second, she was really good too.
