Fate that became Faith

I booked a trip to Bequia for my wife's birthday from November 5th-8th. Her birthday was actually on the 6th. We were booked on a 9am flight with Liat from POS to SVG hoping to land by 10am and catch the ferry to Bequia at 11am. Worst case scenario of any delays...we catch the only other ferry for that day at 6pm and be in Bequia by 7pm, bring in my wife's birthday in Bequia as planned....solid back up plan right?!?!? NOPE!!!! Liat delayed and delayed and delayed...we were in POS checked in and ready to go from 7am straight until 6:15pm....yup...imagine how cranky that made my wife especially the day before her birthday. Needless to say we landed in SVG about 7:30pm missing ALL possible options to get to Bequia...Admittedly, Liat was very communicative and provided breakfast and lunch while we were stranded in POS. When we landed in SVG I made the supervisor there aware of my situation and how they inconvenienced us. He called a taxi and told me they will provide transport to the hotel for that night, accomodation and transport to the ferry in the morning so I can resume my plans to Bequia. Disappointed and exhausted as we were we took the offer even though we lost out on 1 night in Bequia and will be travelling via ferry for her birthday. Then and there we met Mr. Bailey...our night in shining armour. He wore the brightest smile and was very apologetic and understandimg of our situation. He grabbed our bags and asked us where we wanted to go for food etc..explaining his property is not one where one can easily walk for food or shopping options (most places in SVG and Bequia are not). We opted for the supermarket...he came with us and walked us through the process...everyone knew Mr. Bailey. He then took us to his property, Bay Hill Apartments which is on a hill (like most SVG properties) and has a gorgeous view of the ocean, islands and the airport. The property was clean, had wifi, hot water, air conditioned, cable tv and spacious...everything for a great birthday night. We had a good nights rest, woke up early, he picked us up as promised, took us for free breakfast and dropped us to the ferry...our Bequia adventure resumed. On Tuesday, we took the 1pm ferry and came back to SVG 6 hours earlier than our flight. We called Mr. Bailey who gladly picked us up and took us on a beautiful island tour then to the airport for our flight. He single handedly salvaged what was turning out to be a horrible birthday trip. Mr. Bailey is very helpful and welcoming...truly resourceful one stop shop for transport, accomodation, boat and land tours!!!

It was for one night only

We needed a place for one night before flight back to St Lucia, we booked online and arriving was a bit of a shock
The lady was really nice at reception but the place really needs a serious make over
You can see the building has character but it has fallen into disrepair, The owner said next time we come it will be completely redecorated, I hope so.
But back to the people again, they were really nice and friendly and that made up for the actual place.
The Owner bought us downtown on the evening and the next day and offered to pick us up also. this is an excellent benefit as apartments are a bit far from centre
They were so nice it is hard to fault them, I really liked them and was hugging managers and staff after we checked out

it was a great experiencie thank you Sandrine, Veronica, Betty Kevin and Mr & Mrs Baily thank you my vacation were wonderfull, the rooms are confortable and clean the service are excellent the make feel at home I am planning my next vacation to Saint Vincent again to stay at Bay-Hill Aparments as a travel Agent I recomended

Friendly people.

Bay Hill Apartments is conveniently close to the airport.
It offers a great view, clean rooms and very helpful staff.
They are good people.
Enjoy the sun on the balcony and relax.
I would definitely stay here again.

Excelente Hotel, muy conservado y la atención de Primera / Excellent Hotel, highly conserved and care of First.

Puedo decir que desde mi llegada a St Vincent en especial al Aeropuerta Int Joshua la aventura comenzo maravilla. Habia planeado pasar unos dias en la isla de Grenada pero la mayor parte en St Vincent, hay conoci a mi gran amigo y hermano en Cristo Kevin Bayle, su señora madre y familia. Me brindaron su apoyo y atención en todo momento. Con respecto a la habitación que ocupe estaba a todo dar full equipo con su nevera, TV por cable, aire acondicionado, agua caliente y servicio de wifi en alta velocidad, con un balcón que da una vista sin igual de la bahia, excelente desayuno preparado al momento. Una experiencia sin igual, lo recomiendo ampliamente no se van a arrepentir. Fueron 7 dias de Vacaciones sin igual. Y pienso volver muy pronto. Gracias por todas las atenciones recibidas. Dios les Bendiga Grandemente en todo momento / I can say that since my arrival in St Vincent in particular to Joshua Airport Int great adventure began. He had planned to spend a few days on the island of Grenada but mostly in St Vincent, there I met my good friend and brother in Christ Kevin Bayle, his mother and family. They gave me their support and care at all times. Regarding the room was occupying all his team give full fridge, cable TV, air conditioning, hot water and wifi high speed, with a balcony that overlooks an unparalleled view of the bay, excellent breakfast prepared at the time. Unrivaled experience, I highly recommend not going to regret it. 7 days were holidays unsurpassed. And I plan to return soon. Thanks for all the care received. God Bless you Greatly at all times.
