Kudos to the staff!
The service is what sets this hotel apart!
Due to a leak in our home we checked in snd by the time we got settled in our room it was 4pm before I made it down to the lobby bar/restaurant to have a bite to eat. Sam and Fernando made me feel welcomed and provided excellent service and I didn’t feel alone eating at the bar. Later that evening when my husband and son felt better we all went down for a late dinner and Irma was great! The next day Yara and Bianca made me the best drink I ever had, they were so kind and sweet I returned the next day for a treat! I placed lots of food orders for pick up and the entire team in the kitchen was amazing and everything tasted delicious!! The 2 female cooks, and the 2 male cooks were the best - and the chef that made the fish tacos was called out so I could thank him!! It’s clear Sarah leads by example and the team all goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Katie and Ashlee helped with all my pick up orders. I meet Janet (housekeeping) and she made sure our room was well stocked. I will definitely be back just to dine here once we back in our house. Great hotel for weekend getaways with amazing amenities.

This is another exciting phase of the newly reinvented Renaissance ClubSport Hotel, near Laguna Beach! We look forward to welcoming all guests to our newly renovated hotel's guestrooms and suites - an affiliate location of Marriott Bonvoy!

Where do I start this place is horrible. Booked for Valentine’s Day and the total come out to $312. The moment I get to the hotel I get hit with hidden fees such as an incidental and parking and some other minor fees. When I go to pay it brings the total to 465 and when I asked the guy at the counter if there was anything we can do he laughed in my face and just said these are our prices. Absolutely embarrassing and will not be staying here again.

Sporty Stay!
Nice sporty hotel. This property is in a business park area and shares an expansive gym with club members (anyone outside the hotel). The gym features a lap pool, hot tub, kids club, kids splash pad, male and female desperate room, sauna and steam room, pickle ball courts, basket ball courts and several weight lifting areas. If you are someone who works out when out of town, this hotel is for you! My boyfriend I loved trying out all the gym perks and hanging out by the pool. I could see how some people might not like sharing the amenities.
The hotel is also in a business park so you aren’t able to walk to any restaurants. However, there are some really good places to eat all within a short driving distance.
Only thing that really sucked to us was that you have to pay 30 dollars for parking.. and it’s a giant empty structure.. not like they are short of space. The ladies who checked us in also were not the friendliest.
Rooms were clean and updated recently.
I would stay again.

Several mysterious charges after check out. I would like a detailed bill. The last charge of $32.00 was, I guess, for two bottles of water I bought as the(( hotel does not provide water. Two others might have been parking $49 and $50. ?? Of course, the room gets cleaned every 3rd day and you get 2 towels to last the two days before cleaning.
