Lovely stay!
Nora Stadshotell was better than we expected. We had booked a family room for pets. Unfortunately, one of us was unable to attend, so the cat had to stay home too. However, it was too late to find another room. But we now got a good picture of what it might be like to stay in this room with our cat. And what struck us first is that the entrance/hallway to the room was large and could accommodate both cart, cage and sandpit.
The windows can be kept open and have a latch, so that pets cannot jump out.
The downside, however, is that our cat would not be able to lie in the window, because there is not a window sill to lie on. But you can slide the desk to the window if you want, so the cat (or dog) can lie there, if the pet wants to lie and look out.
The beds were comfortable. Perfectly hard / soft and had two pillows per person.
Good with electrical outlets in good chosen places.
There is a sofa and an extra bed, which can be folded.
There isn't a Chromecast on the TV, as there might be in some hotels these days.
But there is HDMI output on the TV. This means that you could bring a cord that goes from mobile / tablet to the TV and stream what you want to watch from different streaming services. Required a cable with USB-C to HDMI (male).
However, we did not test this, but we will next time.
There is an extra mirror in the bathroom to see the face better and clearer, but the light is a little too muted. So maybe applying makeup can be a little awkward.
Fan... yes it is in the room. Good on hot summer days.
The family room is not luxurious in any way, but also not bad. It is as you would expect in a hotel of this kind. We liked it and have already booked rooms for the next visit.
It was clean and fresh as you would expect.
Breakfast is one of the better we experienced. And then we have traveled around and had breakfast in many hotels.
The range is wide. Freshly baked bread of various kinds. Pancakes, bacon and eggs, vegetables, fruits, juice, yoghurt, sour cream, various teas. Even my favorite tea variety... Lipton's vanilla. Everything you expect from a breakfast in a hotel and then some. Everything fresh and fresh.
The staff at the hotel are incredibly service minded. Always happy and nice and accommodating.
Bringing coffee/tea to the room from reception is free and can be done 24 hours a day.
If there is a cake stand, you can even take a cake with you.
Guests can also bring a drink to their room from the bar. Or why not something to eat? That's fine, too.
The only downside we experienced, was not the hotel's fault. It was teenagers who drove EPA tractors in the form of submerged volvos or other home builds, where they drove music that made the rooms jump throughout the hotel off the base that was creamed to the max as they passed by on the street below.
Otherwise we were not bothered by noises from other rooms. But it is clear that a barking dog might have made something, if we had such a room-neighbor. Now we didn't.
We were super happy and will definitely come back more times!

A disappointment considering the pricetag.
Very small room with a minimalistic bathroom. The windows were covered with plastic and there was a scaffolding outside so the view was non existent and the windows were not possible to open. Considering previous reviews and the price level I it was not up to my expectations. The breakfast wasn't anything special with a strange assortment.

Nice little balcony at the hotel to sit and drink coffee on. Good cleaning staff.
Very nice city to visit and stroll in with the help of good app and information from the tourist information staff. Very nice promenade with lots of sights

Great accommodation and good food at the restaurant
Missed a chair in the room to have by the bed. Comfortable beds with good comfort. The hotel breathed a feeling that it had been through historic events with guests from the high society when it started!
Funny that so much was left from that time. Great breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs + pancakes with side dishes!

Quite ok but without commitment!
Quite ok, nice old Hotel but our room was too cramped. Breakfast ok but nothing extra. The staff is not very focused on service. Nice coffee machine that unfortunately could not be used because the staff did not refill. Couldn’t tell what was in things “don’t know….” No attempt to find out
