Have a nice week in family hotel

We had a great week in this family run hotel. Room was fine and fairly new, the wellness more than adequate for us. The breakfast and food very good (book in time if you want sushi).

Serene tranquility in an Austrian village.

Serene location, incredible staff… family owned, and operated for years with multiple generations… Delicious food at breakfast buffet, and dinner… Quiet room, surrounded by nature… Relaxing spa services… Close to town, walking paths and bike paths. Highly recommend this hotel.

Strange methods

The unpleasant lady tries to call you after you have booked online and offers you worse conditions than when you made your reservation. She blatantly lies to you and says that this is necessary. Be careful! Especially with these kinds of places, it is more than important to use a reputable booking portal to protect yourself and not fall for the direct booking trick.

An oasis of calm with flaws!

Admittedly, the gardens right by the stream are amazing! A superbly maintained garden right by the stream invites you to rest and relax. A dream!
The rooms and restaurant are less impressive: our room was basic and rustic - no shower, just a bathtub without a shower curtain! A bit of a hassle. There is no small fridge in the room (every mid-range room now has a minibar that can be used for cooling), which is particularly annoying in summer. When we booked the room, we were not even offered the option of half board - and even on the supposedly closed Monday, we were not informed that the restaurant was open and that we could also enjoy dinner. You will look in vain for (friendly) guest-oriented communication here.
Here, old school meets new ideas and it still stumbles at every corner. And it did not convince.

Glorious

Such a wonderful week spent here. Nothing too much trouble; bikes arranged for us, travel advise given. We were half board at the top of the house looking out over the beautiful gardens and rushing stream. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The added bonus being to lie in the glorious garden on sun loungers and watch the stream rush past. The area has so much to offer whether you’re a cyclist, walker, swimmer or just like lazing in beautiful surroundings.
