Willowmere Lakeside Retreat

We spent 3 glorious days at Willowmere. It was our first visit but it won’t be our last. We had the perfect weather to watch the many sailboats on Lake Ontario with the magnificent view from the Willowmere private garden. The cozy private suite was very clean, and offered all the amenities you could want for a relaxing stay at the lake - good for the body and soul. Thank you to the wonderful host Jane.

Cute and comfortable

Stayed one night in the winter. Owner Jane was so lovely and accommodating. Had a beautiful walk on the snow covered beach and boardwalk which was just steps from the door to my room.
The bed was comfortable and the newly renovated bathroom was clean and bright.
Coffee available 24/7 in my room and lots of restaurants in town to choose from.
Overall a great experience.

Cozy beachside respite!

Our annual visit... just love the private suite with covered patio looking out to the lake. The new beach-side patio was an added treat to watch our grandkids (who stayed at The Breakers) as they paddle-boarded with their Mom up past us... and stopped for a drink. And Jane, of course, is always a delightful host.

Very relaxing stay on the beach

We just returned from 2 nights at Willowmere. It was fabulous! Such a lovely outdoor seating area where you can listen to the waves and just steps to the beach. You have your own entrance so you don't feel like you are in someone else's home. The bed was comfortable and it is nice to have a separate bedroom and sitting room. Jane was very easy to communicate with, made sure we had everything we needed. The 2 dogs would occasionally come over to say hello if we were sitting outside - very friendly and not bothersome at all. We walked along the beach to town. We also brought our bikes and it was an easy ride into town. We would happily book to stay here again. I recommend that you book through the willowmere.ca website directly.
