Beautiful cottage by the sea with good servicr

We had a very nice week at Villa Monyet. There is a good atmosphere, with friendly and very helpful staff. The food was diverse enough and very tasty. It's nice that it's right by the sea.

Chilling on the beach

Wonderful place to chill. Or just on the accommodation itself, or across the street on the street. The room was very cozy and comfortable.
Jungle juice is highly recommended. Food fine.
Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken, so no cappuccino, but that was just a minor matter.

a dream house , a dream stay and a dream team

The place is amazing , the team is so super nice, the food is delicious , loads of choice for breakfast and fresh fruits and juices.On friday night I recommend the BBQ fish night ! The place is facing the ocean and a great surf spot. This place is a gem, I can only recommend it.

This place is amazing, feels like live in the jungle with a perfect surf spot in front of the villa, the staff is really friendly and so kind, thank you Villa Monyet for the perfect 6 days. See you again next year!

Our Home for a month

We had the privilege of taking 1 month out of our life to stay and enjoy this peaceful village, the accommodation and people of Villa Monyet, the daily prayers, the relaxed pace, the waves and mix of cultures that are attracted to this remote paradise on earth. We love the connections we made during our stay here, the food a great, the staff are super friendly - as are everyone in the village. One just needs to overlook the litter on the streets (the locals just don't seem to see it), and get used to the haze in air due to fires burning from the leaves that are ever present and burnt throughout the day. We gorged ourselves on the abundant tropical fruits - papaya, dragonfruit, mangos especially and so, so cheap at the market in town, over the bamboo bridge. You will want to have a scooter during your stay, the staff can arrange this. Here you will eat well, sleep well, and feel well if you take the time to stop and see if for all that there is to enjoy in this simple village.
