Great experience

We had a great time and very good experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were decent. The pool was slightly smaller than expected but was still onay. Hotel location was good, not too far from main center. Had 3-4 halal shops near by. Public buses were easy to catch to get to the main city and Airport. Food prices were same like UK. Very quiet area. If your not made for heat then avoid going in July-August.

Good value for money

good value for money.Staff were very nice and friendly and the place is nice and clean.The only thing I would say is there was a bit of mould in the bathroom.Our AC started leaking water the first day but once notified the staff had it fixed very quickly.Pool area is spacious and not too crowded in the day.Overall the atmosphere was okay although i wouldnt personally stay in the area of saint pauls bay again there want much to do around the hotel apart from a couple restaurants at the front.

Disapointing

Terrible experience the reception staff are rude and unhelpful. The manager Sharon calls guest personal insults in Maltese unaware i understood her. Hotel facilities rented out to private parties in peak season so unable to use all facilities. Definately not 4 * very old rooms with tiny fridge and extra small t.v, hairdrier on wall with wire too short to use properly, mouldy bathroom. Paid for a family room with a separate bedroom but was 4 beds stuffed in one room. Very disapointing stay

Many thanks for your feedback. Sharon, our Events Manager is a people's person and if I have to fault her in anything is that at times she goes well beyond to try and please guests. I assure you that she would never call personal insults to any of our guests. I took time to watch CCTV and it clearly shows that the receptionist told her in Maltese that she barely saw her all day and Sharon replied to her that it has been a crazy day. This does not mean in any way that she was calling you crazy! from what i was told, she even offered you a venue to be used free of charge. Back to our comfortable rooms which feature a frigo bar (which is always small) as well as a hairdryer, safe, satellite TV (which we are in the process of changing to larger ones), tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning, en-suite bathroom as well as a balcony. Like every other good 4**** hotel, some facilities are rented out for private functions. We have 3 pools in total, 1 of which is occasionally used for private functions, which is absolutely normal all over the world. Obviously there are still 2 more pools for our guests to use.

Horrible place, horrible staff

Do not stay at this hotel. We were promised a free drink on hotel,from the manager.went to get free drink at bar ,bartender and waitress basically called us liars and treated us us like trash, .all do the pool bartender ignoring us and not serving us one drink. The staff at this hotel are rude, nasty people. There are so many other nice hotels to stay at besides this self proclaimed 4 star hotel. 4 stars my ass. Cone here for rude nasty people. Horrible place. management that lies, awefull place.

Thank you for your review and allow me to excuse myself for this misunderstanding. From what I gathered and after I checked with my staff, the manager offered you a free drink and informed the barman on duty. You then went to take this drink the following day when there was someone else on duty and who was not aware that you had not yet taken this complimentary drink. So please accept my apology for this misunderstanding. I have asked my staff to contact you and offer you this complimentary drink as well as a complimentary dinner on us. Hopefully this will change your perspective on the hotel, as it was very simply a misunderstanding.

Don't get your hopes up

The staff went above and beyond, cant fault them at all. However the rooms are definitely not 4* i would say 3 at a push. The therapist lady Cheryl is brilliant
