Splendid indeed!

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. From the time I placed the booking - using their web site to save money compared to third party sites, I knew that this was going to be a great experience. This is a family run hotel and everything they do reflects their pride in their hotel and the respect and appreciation they have for their guests. We booked six of the hotels 10 rooms. Every room was unique and each of the rooms were loved by our group. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within a 5 minute walk to the Silver Gate of Diocletians Palace and maybe 7 to 10 from there North Gate. It was s safe walk and relatively flat. My last time in Split I stayed with the pedestrian zone and this was by far a better location for us. I want to especially mention the General Manager, Marija, and her front desk team of Dea and Zeljka - beautiful and kind people who made us feel like invited guests into their home.
The room we had was super spacious with an excellent air conditioner and modern bathroom. We did not have a balcony, but some in our group did and these were nice features. The pool is really a plunge pool but was a nice gathering space for our group and appreciated after a very hot day of tours.
Breakfast was made to order and presented so nicely with individual trays of pastries and fruits at each table.
I usually like to add some areas where maybe the hotel fell short so people who are reading this can think it's more honest, but trulyI cannot think of anything at all I would change or anything that I felt fell short of my expectations. A perfect two day stay.

Personal service

The staff is outstanding! The rooms are very comfortable. Plunge pool at the end of the day is very refreshing. Walkable to all you want to see in Split. We had a wonderful visit, thank you Splendida .

Fabulous Hotel

Fabulous Hotel
What a find this hotel is, small so book early. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough, served us fresh lemonade with pastries, had our room ready, gave fantastic local information on what to do and where to dine in Split. Rooms are phenomenal, great plunge pool with a complimentary glass of wine served with fresh fruit. Short easy walk into the centre of town. Genuinely the service was the best experience, no five star could possibly compete with. Truly recommend this hotel

Five Star boutique hotel

This boutique hotel had the best service I have ever experienced. We were immediately offered a welcome drink and Dea treated us like royalty. The rooms were perfect size as was the plunge pool. The breakfast was delicious and it was a 7 minute walk to the heart of Split.
We got some great recommendations from Dea on dinners (Sug), gelato places, hikes and the local beach Znjan that was renovated a year ago.

The high reviews this property consistently receives are merited.No more than a 10 minute walk to the Port and 5 minutes to the rear entrance to the Old Town.The team here are first class - so pleasant and helpful and so happy!! Breakfast is ‘personal’ and sets you up for the day.Room is more than adequate for 2 people.Highly recommended.
