I had a great stay here. Everything was great and it was very convenient for me. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Hotel is designed for long stay guests. Cleaning service and new bedding only once per week unless requested differently. The room occupied had fiberglass repairs in shower that were not properly done and were visible. Multiple paint paint patches in room that were not finished and did not match the color. Cigarette burns intentionally done by past guest in bathroom paint. Spartan toiletries. Spartan lighting in room. Only 1 elevator exists with non-functioning indicator lights in the operating panel. Flooring on exterior walkways had significant stains and spots that should be repaired. Easy access to floor ways and limited security to elevators and stairwells by random non-guests was evident. Sketchy characters were roaming around during our 2 night stay for the game.
Price paid was higher than the quality of the facility but is heavily influenced by demand from U of O athletic games.
Ownership should remedy easy to address issues to avoid reviews like this. The season is just starting for football so it’s only going to take its toll.
Bedding was full size mattress placed upon a wire and spring frame. No box springs. Adequate, but it seemed as if mattress had “hills” which ranted to roll you downhill from previous use by 2 guests on 1 mattress.
Just be aware of this for your booking.
Rooms were quiet - but no in-room safe for valuables. Toilet ran and was wasting water continuously.

So I traveled to Springfield for a concert at the Cuthbert. That’s why I got a hotel room, it was so that I could not have to drive back to Portland that late. So I get to the hotel at about 1120 after the concert, and they tell me that since I did not check in my room had been canceled. However, they still charge me and getting a hold of this property has been difficult as no one has returned my call. So I couldn’t tell you how nice the room is or how bad, because I never got in there, but I can’t tell you that it states for after hours check-in to call a certain number and when I called that number, they told me my reservation was canceled and still to this day, I have not been refunded.

The room was clean and perfect for our overnight on a road trip.
It is a pretty casual yet functional place.
Appears to be designed for people who may need a place to stay while working on some company project and aren’t in town for any type of frills.
The front desk people were all really pleasant and helpful.
The laundry room was pretty littered with trash but everything functioned properly.

This was my 2nd time staying here this summer. Last time ai stayed 11 days. This time was 4 days. Great location close to retail stores and restaurants. There is plenty of parking and the room was spacious and clean. The wifi didn’t connect to our room; however. I reported the issue to the front desk twice; got no service for 4 days. The key card lock on our room was iffy; it took several swipes to work. Still, the room was worth the price, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The kitchenette is great, but if you’re staying longer than a couple nights pack drinking glasses, bowls, and eating utensils. The Hometown Suites offers good value overall.
