Andorra la Vella is not the most attractive place to visit but it has pretty much everything you need in terms of shops. But, take the time to explore away from the centre, up into the mountains, and you will discover some of the most dramatic scenery in all of the Pyrenees, and great walking in abundance, ranging from easy strolls to demanding day hikes in the higher, more remote reaches of the principality. I have slowly grown to love this place (ignoring the commercialism), because it is full of life, and there’s always something to see or do - from snowboarding competitions, to seeing Cirque du Soleil for free in central park.
The largest town in the mountain principality of Andorra and well worth bypassing unless you're on the hunt for duty free goods. The restaurants here are, at best, average. Don't let it put you off exploring the very beautiful more rural parts of the state.
in the middle of the mountains, along the main road a great shoping mal with often very good prices, in the center you could see if you are luck sardanas dance from the locals but everybody can join
Andorra la Vella is the capital and seems like one large shopping mall after the other. When Gayle and I were here, we weren't interested in tax haven shopping and instead spent our time up enjoying the mountains above the town.
