Change hotel
The only positive thing is the central point that this hotel is located if you can call it that, it is not a hotel but rooms on the 2nd floor of an old building, as soon as I entered I struggled to get some flies out, not to mention the bed is better if you slept on the floor, in the bathroom without a curtain if you took a shower you got everything wet... I recommend changing hotels!!!!

Excellent position!
The structure is very central, in front of the Serdika metro exit, the price is very cheap and it is a good solution for those who don't have too many expectations... The accommodations are in an internal courtyard of the building and if you arrive after 6pm they will give you a code for take the keys in the reception. The accommodations are on the 2nd floor with access from a door a few meters from the reception. They assigned me a room in the second block, so you have to enter, pass through the kitchen of the first block, go through a French window, cross a large terrace with tables (interesting for relaxing on nice days), return to the second block. Not practical in rain or at night. The structure is quite dated but my room wasn't bad even though it had a recently renovated private bathroom outside the room. Recommended for the location and price, but not for those who love comfort!

undemanding, moldy accommodation
it was the worst accommodation of my life. wet walls in the room and also mold, dirt in the bathroom and duct air. it is obvious that in the case of cheap accommodation, one cannot have expectations, but health and cleanliness are not a luxury item!!!! I really do not recommend it to anyone. as an asthmatic, it was cruel for me to sleep between moldy walls at night.

Low cost should have warned us
Fantastic location but possibly the price should have indicated the facilities would not be as advertised.
A private bathroom is normally taken to be en-suite not through a communal area and down a corridor, not ideal if you don't have sleepwear. Electric cables and plumbing, specifically taps, need attention as does the cleaning of the staircase. The whole building had a damp musty smell.
Both bed linen and towels were old, frayed and ripped.
Self check-in (arrival after 18:00) was not the easiest thing, pleased I sorted that before going to airport and collecting elderly relative. It might benefit future guests if keys were labelled and the bathroom doors had internal locks so you didn't need to take the keys and lock yourself in to ensure privacy

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
We booked and pay in advance through booking.
When we arrive, they didn't knew what we talked about. The girl looked confused (and didn't speak english tho they say on booking they do).
She asked my name, and when I told her she made a face, said something in Bulgarian and all the people around laughed.
After we waited 10 min, she took us upstairs and showed us a room we didn't booked at all (we paid extra for private bathroom and the room was small and without).
We told her that so she asked us to wait, and she came back after 30 min (!!) to tell us that this is the only room that was left.
We told her to cancel the booking cause we paid with card, and she didn't understand, so we talked with her manager on the phone and she was unpleasant.
Until she understood why to cancel the booking so I won't be charged, it took around 20 min. I had to convince her to write me that I wont be charged cause she couldn't cancel my booking.
I don't understand why do you use booking if you don't have these rooms or not available.
And shame on you this is how you treat people.
