Hostel with spacious room and strategically located

Located about 10 min walk from Hongik station exit 2 & 3. This hostel is in a peaceful neughbourhood but with 5 min walk you could access to lots of eatery, conveniently stores and also the famous Hongik business center. The staff are Taiwanese and could speak Mandarin. They are helpful and will help you if you have any question on travel in Korea. There’s also a guy who will recommend you the restaurants local usually go and also shopping tips in Myeongdong. Would highly recommend this hostel.

Clean and nice room

Our family book a 4 bedded room during our trip. It may be a little hard to find but the locals may lend you a helping hand. Once you know the area, coming back and going out is no longer a hassle. Its in a nice neighbourhood, not too busy or too quiet. Nice staffs. He is kind enough to tell us that since they are no booking in our room, he do not ask us to check out (we are spending 2 other nite at Jeju).
Room is okay with floor heater in winter. Hot and cold water dispenser is also inside the room. We got a 1st floor room which is good as the building do not have lift. Nice gimbap near the hostel. Spoilt for choice in eating there. Breakfast is DIY, eat as you like but don't forget to clean up later. Nice place :)

Quiet location, very nice studio type Accomodation

I'm a returning guest of Studio41st. I checked in when Studio41st was newly opened.
The rooms were nice and well decorated. It is a studio with private bathroom.
I loved the interior and the bed. It was very comfortable.
Breakfast was included in the fee. Off Season, it's less expensive. and it's quite popular among tourists. The staff often changes which is kinda sad but I love to meet new people. If there was a problem, day or night staff immediately helped.
They have a phone for international calls. and cats infront of the housing.
The accomodation is well located, on the opposite side of the clubs and bar of Hongdae. It's close to the station , coffee shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay

My friend and I decided to stay here because a friend of ours recommended it. We found it fine from Hongik station with a little help from Google maps, about a 10-15min walk depending on how much luggage you're bringing with you. The manager was friendly and very accommodating, especially when we ran late at check out.
It's in a residential area (so nice and quiet at night) and about a 15min walk to where all the shopping/food and exciting things are at in Hongdae which was good. So we got the best of both suburban and night life.
Overall we had a good experience, and we would stay here again.

Home :)

I was not able to write a review after our visit to Seoul last September 2013. Since we are planning to go back again this year (2016), I can't help but to remember the good memories we had in this hotel. Studio 41st service is superb. From the time of booking until the day of our departure, their hospitality was very consistent. In the morning, we were greeted by the manager-on-duty and would invite us to have breakfast in the hotel's cozy kitchen. There we have met other guests and chat with them. I also love the rooms-it's clean and the amenities inside would make you want to live there. I wish to go back there and meet again Ms. Kim (one of the manager). Thank you for your hospitality. God bless you.
